Meet Dani Shulman, Our New Board Chair:

It’s with great enthusiasm that I introduce Mr. Daniel Shulman as the new Chair of Queens Hillel’s Board of Directors. Dani brings a bold vision and a strong commitment to strengthening Jewish life on campus, and we are eager to build the future of Queens Hillel together. Take a moment to learn about his journey in the bio below. 

Dani Shulman is a Senior Vice President and Private Banker with the City National Bank Private Banking team, based in Melville NY. In his role, Dani develops and manages relationships with high-net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals, multi-generational families, and nonprofit organizations. Dani utilizes a team approach, providing his clients with the depth and breadth of expertise from the City National Bank team of specialists. In addition to providing financial and estate planning, Dani and his team provides his clients  with advice around investments, corporate trusteeships, credit and banking, philanthropy, as well as business owner exit strategies.
 
Dani has over 15 years of comprehensive financial, private banking, and wealth management experience. Prior to joining City National Bank, Dani was a Client Strategist at BNY Wealth, focusing on working with ultra-high net worth multi-generational families. Before his entry into finance, Dani was a nonprofit planned giving and major gift fundraiser.

Dani earned his undergraduate degree from CUNY Queens College and his MBA and MA in Jewish Professional Leadership from Brandeis University. In addition, Dani earned his Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP ®) from the American College of Financial Services.
 
Dani lives in Merrick with his two dogs, PB and Kat. In addition to serving as the board president of the Queens Hillel, he serves on various committees for local nonprofit organizations such as Gurwin Healthcare Systems, The Jewish Business Network, and the North Shore Animal League of America.
