UJA Federation 2026-2027 Scholarships (3) Available!

Applications are now open for three UJA-Federation scholarships available to Jewish undergraduate, graduate, and professional school students. These scholarships are funded by UJA donors and administered by the Hebrew Free Loan Society.

  • The Rose Biller Scholarship is open to Jewish residents of NYC’s five boroughs, Westchester, and Long Island with significant financial need. Eligible applicants include sophomores through seniors in undergraduate, graduate, or professional programs.

But wait, there’s more!
HFLS also offers interest-free college loans of up to $7,500 per student, per year (for up to four years, totaling $30,000), available year-round to residents of NYC, Westchester, or Long Island—regardless of religion, immigration status, area of study, or year in school. Students may receive both a scholarship and a loan; one does not preclude the other.
