Type: P/T 3-6 hours per week. Start immediately. Permanent position possible.
When: Immediate, through the summer and beyond.
We're looking for an effective and organized self-starter with great marketing/communication skills to join us. We are a passionate and supportive small team that will help the right person grow and develop your skills and career.
The intern will report to and work directly with the founder/president and one other member of our small team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Create, write and publish content on social media platforms---Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin and YouTube.
Manage communication strategies to accomplish social media goals.
Monitor and manage social media replies.
Participate remotely and/or possibly in person at events in the summer.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with video and social media content creation for social media
Experience with Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube
Proven track record of Instagram growth
Experience writing copy for social media
Experience with Canva and other design platforms
Experience making reels and basic video editing
Currently in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Media Studies or similar or Bachelor’s degree completed.
Creative, decisive and self-assured
Must have excellent internet access and your own computer for this remote position
Self-directed and comfortable working with a remote team, often independently
Superior attention to detail
Openness to constructive feedback and commitment to self-improvement
Passion for Supplies for Success’ mission and giving back
History of volunteering a plus
Demonstrated ability (via personal social media or experiences elsewhere) to strategically curate content across various social platforms
Compensation $18-20 per hour
