Turning Commuter into Community

Queens College has the 9th largest population of Jewish students of any campus in the country. That's 4,000 Jewish students out of a total of 16,000 undergraduates. The majority of students here live at home and commute to the campus during the day. Over the last few years a strong residential community has developed. Now there are 300-400 students who live either in the campus dormitory (the Summit) or in neighborhood apartments. Commuters and Residents alike are welcome at all Hillel programs, and we do everything we can to accommodate very widely ranging student schedules. Some students work, study full time or part time - regardless of how often you are here, Queens College Hillel seeks to be a Jewish resource to all Jewish students.
