Queens College has the 9th largest population of Jewish students of any public campus in the nation. Of 16,000 undergraduates, 4,000 are Jewish. The majority of students here live at home and commute to the campus every day. Some commute just down the road, other come from all over NYC! Many students also live in the dorms and surrounding apartments, which helps create a rich and exciting Shabbat experience every weekend. Commuters and Residents alike are welcome at all QC Hillel opportunities, and we do everything we can to accommodate very widely ranging student schedules. Some students work, study full time or part time - regardless of how often you are here, Queens College Hillel seeks to be a welcoming community to all Jewish students.
