Alternative Break in New Orleans

This Alternative Break trip provides insight into the scope and breadth of the disasters caused by hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Additionally, this program provides an opportunity for CUNY students to meet existing community needs through an intensive program developed in partnership with Jewish Funds for Justice. Participants gain important skills while learning about and reflecting on relevant historical, social and political issues through the lens of Jewish ethics and values.
