Bukharian Club

Who We Are:
The Bukharian Cultural Club at Queens College aims to promote an appreciation and understanding of Bukharian Jewish culture through events and social gatherings that bring together Bukharian and non-Bukharian members of the QC campus community. If you would like more information or to get involved contact, Manashe Khaimov at manashe@qchillel.org
What Else?:
"Choikhona Program"
Meaning "teahouse" in Bukharian-Persian, the monthly Choikhona lunches gather 50 to 90 students and is a great opportunity to learn more about Bukharian Jewish culture, socialize with students, and celebrate Jewish diversity - all while having some delicious, traditional Central Asian food and tea.
